So, The SCAR-H I was trying to sell several months ago I have started customizing it.
So far, I've broken down the gearbox and done the usual longevity mods, bought a new barrel, and ordered some other parts.
The work has not been without trouble, however. Evike.com. in their infinite wisdom, decided to ship me the wrong parts then tell me I don't what I'm talking about when I tell them it's the wrong one. It took me sending them a picture of what they advertise and what I received to get them to send me the link to the RMA form.
In the meantime, I stripped the externals down and painted the upper and lower a tan color and got the new parts installed in the gearbox. I am awaiting a new spring, spring guide, and the VFC SCAR selector plate that Evike.com should have sent me me in the first place.
I obtained a JG Blue motor to pull the M130 I am waiting to receive.
I'm looking forward to getting all kinds of pictures and short videos to show you a finished product.
